Ces effets durent 1 heure environ.<br \/>\nDe plus l\u2019\u00e9tirement allonge les fibres musculaires et r\u00e9duit leur efficacit\u00e9 (ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de creeping), le retour \u00e0 la normale est encore plus long.<\/p>\n<p><u>S&rsquo;\u00e9tirer pour mieux r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer ?<\/u><br \/>\nNon car les \u00e9tirements g\u00eanent l\u2019afflux sanguin et donc la r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n<p><u>S&rsquo;\u00e9tirer pour \u00e9viter les courbatures ?<\/u><br \/>\nNon, contrairement aux vieilles croyances tenaces, les courbatures ne sont pas dues \u00e0 l\u2019acide lactique, ce sont des microtraumatismes des fibres musculaires. S\u2019\u00e9tirer ne peut que les aggraver.<\/p>\n<p><u>S&rsquo;\u00e9tirer pour se prot\u00e9ger des blessures?<\/u><br \/>\nNon car la capacit\u00e9 du muscle \u00e0 s\u2019\u00e9tirer augmente mais le seuil de la douleur \u00e9galement (douleur=protection). <\/p>\n<p><u>Pourquoi s\u2019\u00e9tirer ?<\/u><br \/>\nPour augmenter la mobilit\u00e9 articulaire, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire la souplesse, voil\u00e0 donc l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat pour l\u2019escalade. Ne pas s\u2019\u00e9tirer pour faire passer une douleur musculaire !<\/p>\n<p><u>Quand s\u2019\u00e9tirer ?<\/u><br \/>\n15 minutes apr\u00e8s un effort peu intense, par des \u00e9tirements courts et doux.
